Previous to becoming a full-time studio artist, I was employed in the world of advertising as a graphic designer. I graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and started my career with an advertising agency located in the city, followed by several years at Penn State University. During this time, I worked on accounts such as: Trilogy Lenses, Boy Scouts of America, PPG Industries, Sharon Regional Health System, and multiple programs within Penn State’s Housing & Food Service departments. As I worked with these companies, I was given many opportunities to perfect my trade and also experience the different aspects of advertising, my favorites being: graphic illustrations, corporate identity packages, greeting cards and invitations, and brochures.
